NanoTeck Ceramic Coatings

Eight years of extensive research, development, intensive laboratory testing of innovative technologies has resulted in a range of affordable, high-end car care products.

In 2010 NanoTeck’s state-of-the- art flexible transparent coating was eventually released to the market.

Exceeding the performance of existing sealed glazing and film coating products it also made hi-tech car care products, previously only available to manufacturers and vehicle professionals, affordable and accessible to regular car enthusiasts.

Rapidly gaining acceptance by the world’s top luxury car manufacturers including Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Audi, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Volvo, Jaguar to name a few NanoTeck’s nano-ceramic coatings have set the benchmark in car care product design.

The “science” behind NanoTeck’s nano-ceramic coatings

The past decade has seen an explosion of innovations in surface materials and advances in the physics and chemistry of surfaces and coatings.

“A 1955 study showed that “surface engineering” was a $17 billion market in the UK – 50% of which was dedicated to coatings designed to protect automotive surfaces against wear and corrosion.”

While examining developments in metal lacquer protection technology around the world, a new coating caught the attention of our chemists – based on German research the main component of which was a urethane bond.

This instigated years of scientific research and experimentation by our engineers which led to the discovery that hydrogen bonds in the polyurethane bond molecules could be separated and absorb extraneous energy – then reformed giving the polyurethane layer a high degree of mechanical wear resistance and flexibility.

May 2008 saw the introduction of the first flexible transparent coating which acted like a crystal shell over the surface of body paint filling invisible subtle “pores”, creating a mirror effect.

Initial performance tests on a Land Rover SUV body in early 2009 showed anti-cracking, scratch-resistance, anti-static and other indexes were so good that further more rigorous tests were conducted on other models of cars such as Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Maybach, Bentley, Porsche etc.

The result – a highly elastic, scalable molecular chain with a hardness of which rewrote the history of automotive care and after its launch in 2010 NanoTeck’s product range was quickly acknowledged as world leaders in automotive protection products.

Industry Standard Warranty

Our products have been officially tested to ensure extreme durability and come with an extensive warranty:

New and Used Vehicles: are covered for the life of vehicle ownership.

Validity: All NanoTeck products must be applied by one of our Approved Applicators to be eligible. An original receipt must be kept for proof of application and the vehicle must be taken back to the original approved applicator for any Warranty concerns.

Accidental Damage: If the vehicle is damaged due to an accident or other event, the vehicle must be taken to an approved applicator for re-treatment to the repaired area at the owner’s expense.

Exterior Paint: Painted surfaces coated with NanoTeck’s Paint Protection are warranted against environmental contamination and damage resulting from; bird droppings, tar, tree sap, bug impacts, UV damage, oxidation and other substances during the normal operation of the vehicle.

Exclusions:

  • Damage to the coated surface caused by automatic car washes, abrasive brushes etc.
  • Damage caused by collision, accidental damage, vandalism, malicious damage, fire, hail, flood, stones, rust, paint over spray or defects which may be covered under a manufacturers or dealerships protection plan.
  • Area’s that have not been retreated after a paint repair.
  • Claim determination is at the sole discretion of NanoTeck’s Approved Applicators, either approving repair work or refunding the application cost to the vehicle owner
